Manton United Methodist Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Will Clegg

Pastor


Will Clegg was appointed to serve as @Manton United Methodist Church's Pastor in July of 2025.  Prior to he was in the retired status.  In 1984 he planted Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Haslett, MI.  In 1994 he was appointed to Wesley Park United Methodist in Wyoming, MI.  He served there until his retirement in 2011.  Will has also served as the part-time, retired pastor at Parmelee United Methodist Church

The attributes that best describe Will as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Manton United Methodist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Will greatly enjoys being with the congregation in worship and other occassions.

He graduated from Asbury College  in 1980 with a major in psychology.   Will received his Master of Divinity in 1983 from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Will is married to Joni who is a retired kindergarten teacher. They have two grown sons.
